We will be meeting at the library at 9:00 AM and taking a bus together to Woodmere Cemetery. 9400 W. Fort St, Detroit, MI 48209. The cost of the bus is being subsidized by the library, but we are requesting a nominal $10 donation to help cover the cost of transportation. If you prefer to meet us there, we plan to arrive around 10:00 AM.

Woodmere has remained one of Detroit's most beautiful treasures, where visitors can take a historical step back into time. From the very rich to the very poor, many thousands have chosen Woodmere Cemetery to be their final resting place. Gail Hershenzon will be giving us a tour of this beautiful and historical cemetery. She has been a volunteer at Woodmere for many years and has given numerous tours. 

Registration is required.  Bringing a bagged lunch is recommended, as we will not be back at the library until 2:00 PM.
