Heritage Quest In-Person
Heritage Quest is a wonderful research resource for historians, genealogists, and anyone curious about the past. This two-hour session is designed to help you learn to access census records, city directories, historical books and genealogies, military records, and other information that is provided free for you to use. We will start with an overview of the database to get a sense of what it contains and how it can be searched, then delve into some actual searching and viewing results. If you are trying to find an ancestor or looking for historical information, bring some of your questions and we'll see if this database can help answer them. You will be provided with an opportunity to work on a computer if you wish or you can watch while we work on some searches online.
