Trevor Newman is co-founder of Roots to Fruits Ecological Design, a firm that uses techniques form the realms of permaculture, organic agriculture, and holistic design to increase the fertility, water-holding capacity, drought resistance, habitat, and productivity of landscapes. He writes, teaches, and lectures on ecological design and local food systems as well as being the president of the Michigan Nut Growers Association and co-chair of the North American Fruit Explorer’s permaculture special interest group.
